Mount Olive offers two opportunities every Wednesday for women to gather together around God’s Word. Identical Bible studies are offered from 1:00pm - 3:00pm and again from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
The fall Women's Bible Study begins on Wednesday, September 10th and will continue for 10 weeks through November 12th. This study, The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, includes 5 day in-depth individual study during each week and a small group discussion on Wednesdays with a DVD presentation by Beth Moore. The workbooks cost $15.00 and are an integral part of this study that is full of twists and turns, ruin and redemption, revelation and mystery in the book of Genesis, Chapters 12 - 50. Participants will explore concepts such as blessing, covenant, and promise, and the bearing each has on a New Testament believer's life today. We will explore the Hebrew names of God introduced in the early pages of Scripture, a Genealogy of Abraham and a map of the Promised Land during the times of the Patriarchs.
